Iowa just beat south Carolina in one of the best games I've ever watched. Iowa plays basketball the way it should be played. Catlin Clark is a female Larry Bird.

I have followed women's basketball for quite a awhile. I got really interested when the Tennessee/UConn rivalry heated up. Anyway I have seen alot of hoop over the years but never seen a back to back performance like Caitlin Clark's performance in the last two games. Leading Iowa with 41 points over Louisville in the Regional, and then last night another 41 beating South Carolina (unbeaten and favorite to win NC) in the National Semi-Final.
She reminds me of Pete Maravich. Not sure she will have another huge performance in the Final on Sunday against LSU, but if you are a fan of hoops check it out.

I watched the replays of that game and she is indeed a great player. She reminds me of her coach which I believe is Kim Mulkay. I watched her when I was stationed in LA and she played for LA Tech.

I caught that after I posted it. Also was dumb enough to watch the championship game on ESPN2 instead of ABC. Dumb! But the feed I got on my computer didn't even mention it was on ABC. Was glad to see LSU win it. They might give the UK team a fight. Mens team that is. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
