Words fail me.

I am truly stunned. How could this team be THIS bad? Returning national player-of-the-year. Shooters. Slashers. Length. Top recruiting classes year after year. $9M salary for the coach.

I don't think these kids are this stupid, nor this bad.

I was about to write a post about my distaste about people betting against OUR team. But, nevermind. Go, make some money. Maybe we can at least buy Cal's ticket to his next job.

Ten years ago I would be depressed and sick to my stomach and just plain pissed off after a loss like this. But tonight, I really don't even care. I just have no excitement for the UK program anymore. Cal has just ruined this program.

I haven't bet yet, and I have a hard time betting against them. But I might start betting them to not cover. Got to try to salvage something from this season.

PC,

I feel your pain

Tip,

Sorry if my post on betting have been upsetting, but I'm going to take advantage of Vegas odds when they are clearly giving money away. I hate that it is this UK team, but you ride what is hot as a gambler.

This team has all the pieces to be great if utilized correctly. Cal is just stubborn to a fault. I would be playing zone defense with this group. I would play Collins big minutes every night in that zone protecting drives to the paint. I would also run some offensive sets for him like Nate Oats does for his skinny lanky big. I would be shooting no less than 25 threes per game with Frederick/Reeves/Wallace/Livingston and space the floor.

Cal will never do it. Who knows maybe next year with 3 Top 5 players they can be effective in archaic offensive and defensive schemes, but I doubt it.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

The negativity on this site has disappointed me. However, I’ve finally realized, it’s me not my fellow posters, there’s almost nothing to be positive about. I still like the uniforms.

I’ve pushed Cal under the bus. I’m done defending him. IMO, he’s a big part of the problem but the players bear some responsibility for this dismal season as well.

Most of the negativity I have towards the players comes from the coach. This team seems to have no fight, and that's on the coach. There's no team cohesiveness, and that's on the coach. I don't think Cal is anywhere close to being a motivator, if anything he's a demotivator (is that a word?).

On my local news website there's currently a headline about the Bengals: "Bengals safety Jesse Bates: 'It's easy to play hard for coach Taylor.'" I don't think anything like this will ever be said of John Calipari. We've seen it on players' faces over the years.

I think there are players on the current roster who are just bad basketball players, but I would never get down on them. They just don't have a good coach.

This has made me so so sad ! Growing up in Pike County KY I remember listening to all the games broadcasted by Cawood Ledford with Dad and my brother. I did not even print out a schedule this year. I actually forgot about the game last night. You guys know far more about the game than I do but I know this guy cannot coach. If I win the big Lottery of 1.3 Billion I will buy this guy out. LOL
