Not only has he wrecked our program, and crushed our dreams for this season but he is also doing so bad that no one else is going to want him. If he keeps doing this we are stuck with him for who knows how long. The ending of that game is another example of the embarassment he is as a game coach. Terrible clock and game management. And for the guys to think they had to have a 3 is all on him. I seriously don't know what major program would hire this guy. Maybe Texas will be stupid and pull him away, but I seriously doubt it. There are too may other good coaches they can throw all that money at. I guess I'll try to just start betting for the cats to never cover. At least that can salvage something for me. I have tickets to the game at UGA, and Cal ahs ruined that probably also. I'm not sure I want to go now. If we lose the fans will be all over me. Maybe I'll go incognito.

I can't wait to see the post game excuses for this one. Even I who know not much about coaching the end of a close one could see we didn't have to have a 3 with the ball and 20 seconds. We'd had some stops on them up to that point and could have possibly had another one or have gotten fouled on a 2. Unbelievable. Just sad.

I'm waiting for the press conference to come out. I can almost guarantee he'll use the Toppin and Wallace injuries as excuses.

And there you have it:

quote:
He added, “This is a long season. It’s a marathon. Am I happy? No. I’m not happy. I hate losing. We were undermanned but it doesn’t matter. You play to win.”
We were undermanned? More like we were undercoached.

We are undermanned every game because he's the coach.

Oh people will want Cal and maybe he will do better somewhere else. I don't know, what I do know is the current state of Kentucky basketball is as bad as I can remember for a 4 to 5 year stretch.

I think Pitino may have been right when he said Kentucky was a 10 year Max job. We saw Tubby's teams start to struggle and now we have seen the same happen to Cal.

Maybe the program requires so much energy that a 10 year run is good. I don't know. I like Cal as the leader of the program, but something has to change either his coaching philosophy or he has to go.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.
