This is starting to look like past seasons. We're supposed to have some great 3 point shooters but they were lucky to his 2 pointers. As was said we can't start a game against ND or Ohio State like this or the hole will be so deep we can't climb out.
I saw some good play but I also saw some sloppy play. Collins will be getting a lot of PT and may soon even replace Brooks in the starting lineup. No one could shoot in the first half and we can't have everyone cold at the same time or we'll be buried at half time. I like that we ended up with a well spread scoring load. Oscar's rebounds and Wheelers Assists will take us a long way.

Maybe it's not the shooters but the coaching/offense at UK. I believe we have good shooters, but we don't run stuff to get them good looks alot of times. It's all 1 on 1 dribbling. Everyone stands around as someone drives and hope for a kick out. I'm watching Iowa State against Memphis and the movement on offense by Iowa state is beautiful to watch. Overall, very little wasted dribbles, ball movement from side to side, and after a pass they cut and everyone keeps moving. Hard for a defense to guard which is why they are currently up by 14. They struggled in the 1st half with the pressure of Memphis and their athletes, but the 2nd half they have sliced them up.

Watching Dook/Gonzaga last night really opened my eyes. It was amazing to see two well-coached offenses. The screens, back-door cuts, excellent team work - it was a thing of beauty.
