Get used to it. They're all going to be tight games unless one of the teams is shooting 30%. We will definitely get tested. I'm curious as to how many point Boston had. I thought the announcer said that he had double figures. Of course the announcers for these SEC games leave a lot to be desired. And the refs need some glasses also. That foul on Ware or Toppin on the drive by Pippen near the end was a big phantom call.

I am not sure how Cal will decide between those two. I know Cal wants to win as well as I do, but he has some problems with #11 that I don't know about. Otherwise, I think he would be getting more minutes.

I don't know what those could be. The kid plays hard, he seems to be a smart player, he is as capable as Boston on defense, he's a good shooter, and he didn't mope or complain the whole time he sat on the bench. He seemed to just patiently wait for his opportunity. If he doesn't start it is Cal's ego getting in the way. He doesn't want to admit to the BBN that he was wrong and made a mistake. He only does that whenever it can be done in a way that makes him look good for protecting his players or whatever.

I live in Alabama, but I am a Kentucky fan. I have a degree from Kentucky. I have strong feelings for the Kentucky teams. This last game, VU, I was watching with my son who is also a UK fan and grad. He thinks Cal wants to play the guys that will draft the highest.
I don't know, but I want the Wildcats to win.

So far as I can see, the only thing Boston has over Allen is driving to the basket, and I don't think we've seen enough of Allen to tell how he'll fare in that category. He did have one drive into the lane for an easy basket last night and he seems like he'd rather stand outside and shoot, so it's really hard to tell. I don't see one other category, including defense, where Boston is better than Allen. Allen is not a lockdown defender, but Boston got roasted defensively on many occasions last night. Allen got 5 rebounds to Boston's 3, and that has to be pleasing to Cal.

If I was picking players for my team in a pick-up game, I would take Allen over Boston.
