Hagans will go for sure he has issues that would hurt this team next year with the talent we have coming in. With Quickley ,Montgomery projected so high in the top 60 they should come back to raise their stock maybe Richards will come back. Next years team if the above come back could get #9. Whoever gets Richards at #57 will get a real steal. His finesse game will work much better in the NBA than in college.
Quickly is another player that I think has the right mindset and discipline to be a long-time NBA player. He is a shooter,
BUT, if I were either of them, and I was projected to go late in the second round (if at all), I would come back and finish business at UK.

Just my opinion, but I think Quickly will be Doron Lamb 2.0 meaning he is a fantastic college player and shooter, but his skill set does not transfer to the NBA.
Quickly would have to play PG in the NBA and I just don't think he is an NBA level PG. He has the shooting and IQ to be an NBA two guard, but he doesn't have the size, strength, or athleticism to play two guard in the NBA.
All that being said, much like Lamb, if he does come back for another year in college, it will not improve his draft position that much unless he exclusively played PG and did so at a very high level.

Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Trey, I agree that he is unlikely to be an NBA star, but I can see his shooting skills making him a valuable player off the bench. Given the spacing and 'small-ball' focus in the NBA, his size will be less of a hindrance than in days of old.
I think he might rotate around a lot of teams, cashing nice paychecks for 10+ years.

First off I wouldn't put much into anything espn puts out. I don't think they put in the effort other sources do anymore. Their high school player rankings are not as good as other sites are in my opinion. Besides it isn't espn anymore it is dspn (dook).

I tend to agree with most of the above comments. I think a ball player is who he is. Like was said Quickly needs to be a PG, which he most likely won't be or last long at that position. He may even have to go the G League road. If he doesn't get drafted he would end up overseas where he could last a number of years.
Richards is tall and he has learned to shoot from 15 feet. He hasn't learned yet to overcome his tendency to drift into a funk where he doesn't do what he needs to do. His size should get him picked in the top 60 but lasting long in the NBA may be a problem.
Hagans has not got his game to where it needs to be for the NBA. Hello G League. His shooting is not great and he tends to have periods of mistakes both passing and driving.
Montgomery is a no go with the NBA. He could get into the G League for a year or two to maybe get where he needs to be to get back into the NBA. Otherwise hello overseas.
Maxey has the motor to make it in the NBA and all he needs is a little experience in the NBA. He would benefit from being a backup for a while.
Just my observations from 55 years of watching college BB.

It boggles my mind that so many UK players are willing to risk their careers declaring for the NBA draft when they're not even going to be a 1st rounder. After all, that was the whole reason why these kids come to UK is to polish/improve their skills to be a top 25 pick.

IMO-If your not considered a first rounder you have no business leaving early. You need to stay and hone your skills.

catmandoo ... not so sure about that anymore. Tony Bradley left UNC after his freshman year for the nba draft and was selected 28th (border line first rounder). I thought he should come back and hone his skills (of course it would have helped UNC the following year). He was drafted and over the next couple of years has improved immensely ... he was doing basketball stuff hour after hour instead of being restricted by the ncaa's rules about so many hours of practice.
Sometimes the kids get better going early (even though not all do). They have to make their own decisions and live with the results. There is of course the overseas leagues and they pay pretty well (not nba salaries but pretty good none the less). They get to see parts of the world I will never see and get paid doing it. Not every player at any college is nba material but there are a lot of leagues they can play in and get better in and get paid while doing it.
I myself wish there was no one and done and we could go back to the 4 year days but that is way beyond happening. Loved watching players develop over the years and having pride for the school and it's fans. Just my opinion though.

There's much more to people than their political views, MEL...I think we can agree on that too.
