Alexander has slowly but surely become our best player on both ends of the floor over the past 3 games. He is becoming a complete basketball player who seems to be taking a leadership role on this young team, just what they need. A great win last night against a very good team, especially since it was their first real road game playing in the other teams home gym. They would have won by a wider margin if they could make free throws. I just do not understand why these young men cannot make free throws on a consistent basis. It scares me to see Diallo or Washington on the free throw line late in a close game.

Good win against a team that played above their heads. we took their best shot, on their home court, and came away with an important conference road win. Only had 3 turnovers in the 2nd half. We still have a long way to go, especially defensively, but that was a good win last night. I am just hoping they can pull it out in Tenn. I have tickets to that game and the last time I was there they upset our John Wall/Boogie team. It was awful to hear Rocky Top literally 100 times or more.

Defense continues to be our Achilles Heel - there are many times where we cannot stop anyone. We lost out on a handful of rebounds as well. I am holding out hope that those two things can get resolved. If so, we will be ok.
