Good start and he is only get better.
University of Kentucky guard Jamal Murray scored 12 points and contributed two rebounds and two assists on Tuesday night to help Canada defeat the Dominican Republic 105-88 in its opening men's basketball contest at the Pan American Games in Toronto.
Murray, an incoming freshman who signed with the Wildcats this summer, played 21 minutes and made five of his seven shots from the field and two of his three free-throw attempts. The point guard committed two turnovers.
