I hope Stoop keeps his head held high. He has elevated UK to the point where we expect more than just a simple bowl game every year. He didn't always deliver, but he at least got us to this point. Although I totally agree with this change at head coach, I think he should be commended for his time at UK.

Stoops left with class.

quote:
“To all of my former players, coaches, staffers, and the Big Blue Nation, from the bottom of my heart, thank you,” Stoops said. “Coaching at Kentucky the last 13 years has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I’ve felt your support, your pride, and your love every single day. Kentucky has become my home and I’ll be forever grateful to have been your head coach.”

He's my favorite coach and I appreciate everything he did for UK.

Very, very grateful for the sea-change in UK Football that finally came to fruition under Stoops. For all his faults, he did what no other UK coach has done.

I never really warmed up to his personality, but I loved his teams when they left it all on the field.

Thank you, Mark Stoops. I wish you only the best going forward.

BTW, if you give back enough of that payout, you might get naming rights to something. Anything to get rid of "Kroger"...
