Has this two game winning streak set the program back 5 years?

I guess it’s possible but I’ll always take two in a row in the SEC. I’ve never felt Stoops was the complete problem. I was completely against Stoops initial hire. In fairness, I think he has done an ok job. I don’t believe there is a coach on earth that can turn this program into a year in and year out SEC contender.

I know the Indiana coach appears to have turned an equally bad program around but time will tell. I wonder what he will do when the big boys of college football come calling for him to lead their program.

I agree Handycat, a few brakes and this year could have been so much better. That being said I think coach Stoops has done all that he can at UK. It's time for a change IMO.

I see Wildcats football as one of 2 things for a coach, a stepping stone or a final resting place. Stoops has been here far to long for this to be a stepping stone. Kentucky coached rarely, if ever, go on to bigger and better things. Just my perspective, take it for what you will.
