The USC loss was pretty brutal. 4 TOs in the first half pretty much killed us, and our offense just isn't up to the job of climbing out of that big of a hole.

Boley may be the QB of the future, but he sure has some work to do on decision making when under pressure. Once we had to pull our TEs in to provide protection from USC's superb edge-rushers, our main offensive weapon was sidelined... and then USC just stacked the box and stuffed the run. Are our WRs that bad that they could never get open?

And... the defense. Down a notch from what we expect, but serviceable if we could just get some offense to keep the ball out of the opponent's hands.

And we just started Murderer's Row. The next three games will prove to be even more painful.

Can Stoops keep his job? Should he?

While he's still here we are jusy thowing more money after bad money. Don't know what the solution is with all it would cost us to fire him but it looks like I'll never see the daylight as I'm fast approaching 85.

You would think the Mitch and the Administration could see what having a good coach can do for a program.

IU went from bottom dweller in the Big 10 to making the National Playoffs in one season and well on their way to going back with one simple hire.

Times have changed with the portal.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

It's so frustrating being a UK football fan. Year after year of disappointment. Apparently Stoops asked for a buyout last year, but Mitch wouldn't pay.

Let me ask this question. Why is our offensive coordinators so bad while they're at Kentucky, but leave and thrive when they leave? My theory is Stoops no matter what he says wants to play old Big 10 football and run, run, run. He basically veto's a wide open offense.

Not sure exactly what it is with Stoops and our OCs, but I get the impression that he micromanages the play calling.

He is a defensive guy. Let him deal with that side of the ball, and let the OC run the offense.
