The USC loss was pretty brutal. 4 TOs in the first half pretty much killed us, and our offense just isn't up to the job of climbing out of that big of a hole.
Boley may be the QB of the future, but he sure has some work to do on decision making when under pressure. Once we had to pull our TEs in to provide protection from USC's superb edge-rushers, our main offensive weapon was sidelined... and then USC just stacked the box and stuffed the run. Are our WRs that bad that they could never get open?
And... the defense. Down a notch from what we expect, but serviceable if we could just get some offense to keep the ball out of the opponent's hands.
And we just started Murderer's Row. The next three games will prove to be even more painful.
Can Stoops keep his job? Should he? [ 09-30-2025, 12:21 PM: Message edited by: Tiptree ]
