I still remember the last time KY beat the Tide. I was actually on vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC. I had to take my wife's uncle down to the local tiki bar for a celebratory beer!

Report on SEC Gameday is that one of Bama's key receiver targets is sidelined today. Didn't receive a report why he wasn't dressed,, but Bama's got several wide receiver targets on the sideline today!

Milroe is dangerous scrambling, he may do a lot more of that today!

114 yards of offense won't win too many awards!

........and that is that. We were over blown this year before we ever stepped on the field. Leary has about 3 more games before his career will end for good. He is not a pro QB. He doesn't think on his feet when things get hot, and usually eats the ball more than he dumps it when cornered. Davis has had some decent stats but a lot of that was put up in just a couple games. We have had quite a bit better RBs than him. We tend to play like we are afraid they will get behind us, and they usually do. We are no where close to being in the company of GA and AL, and a few others also. If not for the patsies we would have a bad losing season. We wonder why we can't play with the AL and GAs. Not hard to figure if you look how we play against the patsies at the beginning of the season. Slow learners. So we go 5-1 and turn around and go 1-5 for a 6-6 record and another trip to Nashtown. We sometimes are tricked into delusions of grandeur but we always reurn to reality when the cleats hit the turf. Good thing BB has started. I pray for better results. [Mad]

I think Davis is an excellent back. So good that the two best teams in the league, Georgia and Alabama, focused their defense entirely on stopping our run game.

That allowed Leary to start putting up some better stats, especially on out routes to the sidelines since 9 defenders were usually in the box. Our running game went to almost zero, but our passing game improved.

But, honestly, the Big Blue Line was not up to our past lines. Just a notch below on both run blocking and pass protection. Still good, mind you... just not overwhelming.

The real challenge for this team was defense. We started off the season with a very aggressive, attacking defense, but ended up playing a softer, flexible defense. I think that was the difference in our overall outcome over the past five games.

Yeah HC, they are always minor, so to speak?? Next year looks like a remanufacturing year for us. Unless we can find a third bargain QB in the pool.
