I’m going to be optimistic and say 7 and 5. Will not be surprised to see 6 and 6. Hope i’m Wrong.
I’m going to try and remember to pull this back up at the end of the season.
You need to give this serious thought as the mods have promised a large cash prize for the winner.

Not figuring in any upsets........WE will be 7-5 and 3-5 in the SEC. We win all 4 of our non conf games and beat Vandy down there and AR and MO at home. If we lose the AR and MO games we could end up 5-7, with a big step backward now that Stoops is assured of a future job here.

9-3, I don't think we go backwards.

I'm going to guess 7-5

8-4 I think they will win at least 8. They could win more, if star players stay healthy.

To me, it all comes down to one key issue -- Its hard to hide a weak secondary in the SEC. I am confident we will be able to score, and our primary run defense should be pretty stout. If the ball gets behind the d-line, though, we will have trouble.
So -- can we put enough pressure on the QB to compensate for our secondary? If we can't, 6-6 might be the best we can hope for, because our games will start to look like those in the Mummy era -- who scores last wins. On the other hand, if we can keep the secondary from being picked to pieces, we might go as high as 9-3.
My guess? 7-5.

Tip I think you may be wrong about the secondary as the recruiting is much better than the "old" Ky recruiting i.e. quality players at all positions.
This is not a Ky program whereby one or two players down means disaster. I believe the secondary will rise with the challenge due to better quality players and as I mentioned before in this thread we go 8-4 at worst.
This is now at least a solid mid level SEC team and moving upwards!
I believe you and others are thinking "past" not "present"!

Ed, you could be right, and I hope you are!

I do too! Anyway it cooled down today just in time for the first game next Saturday. Hope it stays cool and dry on Saturday next week. I hate to wear my rain suit when I'm working the game. Starting my 6th year and starting to think time is running out and I may be able to work the games only 2 more years.

Bama, I hope you can work these games for many, many years. This football program has turned around under your watch and I think you deserve most of the credit.

Don't give me the BIG HEAD HC. Although, Stoops arrival on the field just about coincides with my arrival in the stands. Those first couple of years were very disappointing but he seems to have gotten it going finally. We certainly have a lot more depth than we did when he started. If they ever show the end zone to the East I am at the bottom of the stands in the corner nearest to the side with the high dollar seats.

Bama, you’re just being modest. I have that same trait.

Just for perspective, UK's 2019 recruiting class ranked 12th........in the SEC.

More than one 7-5 predictions here. However, mine stood out above the rest.
Considering injuries to key player, I thought this was a pretty good year.

You hit it but I also had it described pretty well also. How wrong I could have been had the QB not been hurt in the second game. Otherwise, We may have ended up with the same record as last year.

I believe the only reason I missed my 9-3 prediction was because Terry Wilson got injured.

I also believe with a healthy WIlson we win two more games. Looking back!
