These two will go down as two of the best to ever strap on the helmet at KY!

Both players will play on Sunday

To me Benny Snell just became the best UK player to ever play at Kentucky, surpassing Tim Couch. Josh Allen is without a doubt the best defensive player ever.

It would be hard to argue with you that Snell is the best player to ever play the game.

PSU knew he was going to get the football and they still couldn't stop him!

You can stop him for a while but in the end he usually gets his.

Snell is so consistent and doesn't seem to ever play a bad game.

Snell is a pure "talent" back. Some backs are just broad-shouldered bulls that will get you 3-4 yards when you need it just by hitting the gap hard. Others are speedy and can hit the edges or slip through the seam on a timing play. But Snell gets the ball almost in slow motion, scans the carnage at the line, and then finds the hole as it is opening and accelerates through it. He is strong enough to take a hit and keep going, and he is nimble enough to go around or over defenders.

I have never seen anything like him at UK. He literally lets the game come to him every single play. There are few power plays like "take the ball at full speed and hit the hole next to the right tackle". Not too many fancy end-runs or reverses. Just good, solid running plays with the occasional wildcat thrown in.

Benny and Josh will definitely be missed. They are two very special players.

It's hard to replace all-American talent at a school like KY, year in and year out!

It would be hard for any college to replace a running back like Snell. (not many like him)
