Topic: Today's Game.

My son, son in law, grandson, and two granddaughters are coming over to cheer on the Cats with me. I never dreamed at the start of the season we would be playing in a Bowl game on New Year's Day. IMO, a win today would cap off a great season. A loss would be disappointing but still a good season for UK football.

handy, I attended my first UK football game in 1961. In my opinion, this is the best overall team (offense and defense)that I have seen.

It will be an uphill struggle to win this game but if enough breaks go our way it could happen. But I won't be disappointed if we don't win it. We have come a long way this season and right now I'm wondering what we will have left to play well next season. But this is the kind of team you want to have. You have some very good players leaving and you hope with the returning guys and the freshmen coming in you can keep the momentum going. We shall see come August 31 against Toledo at home. I hope to be in my same familiar spot near the tunnel of sections 33 and 34. I will miss the student in row 1 that has painted his bare front and back with the UK record (12-0) and Snell Yeah! He has graduated.

You are a very blessed man, Handycat. My wife and I are lucky if we get to see our two grandsons once a month, and they live barely 15 minutes away. I hope you and your family had a great time today.
