UK Coach Mark Stoops was in his home state of Ohio on Monday, making the rounds in a series of recruiting visits with future Wildcats.
UK assistant coach Vince Marrow — the program’s primary recruiter in Ohio — joined Stoops for visits with defensive back Tobias Gilliam, defensive lineman Kordell Looney, tight end Justin Rigg and linebacker Roland Walder.
Stoops and Marrow had in-home visits with UK commitments Luke Fortner and Grant McKinniss on Sunday.
UK’s coaches have been traveling all over the country meeting with recruits since the “dead period” ended last week. National signing day is Feb. 3.

Ohio likes their home state boys and that is good for the Cats. Ohio has become our best recruiting state,

We just have to compete with OSU for their best boys. Obviously they are going to get first choice up there!
