Think this streak has gone on long enough and it's time to be broken.

The Wildcats' takeaway from their 28th straight loss to the Gators was a belief they could compete, and the goal now is carrying that confidence into finally ending the streak.

Not to mention, silencing those annoying annual questions the string has created.

"It's been brought up every time because it's been a long time since we beat Florida," Kentucky linebacker Denzil Ware said. "We're just trying to snap the streak."

"I know we can play a lot better and there are a lot of things that we need to get ironed out and fixed," Wildcats coach Mark Stoops said. "What's great is we have a great opportunity this week against a very good team that has beaten us for a very long time and we have to go do something about it."

Florida beat East Carolina 31-24 last week and ranks high in several SEC offensive categories, including scoring (46 points per game). The Gators also are holding opponents to 26 yards rushing per contest in particular.

I read that story this morning. The series between Florida and the one between Tennessee has not been a rivalry, it has been a but whooping.

Yes, it is very important to end the streak. And, it still won't be a rivalry, until the Cats can notch wins on a regular basis against both of those teams.

I am hoping that Kentucky can pressure Florida, cause some turnovers, and get the win.

I am starting to get a feeling this is going to go one of 2 ways. Either we are going to continue surprising people by just winning a game by holding on to the end............ or we're going to get another butt kicking by 2 freshmen QBs. Ijust have a feeling we will win it someway and start looking at the top 25 list. But we won't do it unless we get better today.

This football team just needs to clean up the little things. Dropped passes, missed tackles, silly penalties etc.
