It didn't take Matt long to learn that sometimes it's better to keep your comments to yourself.
Question: Did you like the confidence running back JoJo Kemp showed before the Florida game with his comments?
Elam: “I wouldn’t say I liked it. I wouldn’t say I disliked it either. He has a lot of confidence and it was good for him. A lot of people look at it differently and that was just his preference.”
Question: Isn’t that the kind of comment you might have made?
Elam: “I mean before yeah, but now I just try to keep my mouth shut and go out and play.”
