I'm sure we all realize how bad football has been these past years but would bet many if not all of us don't realize how bad the numbers are. I spent a couple of hours digging into our history in the SEC and conference records and it's eye opening to say the least. The first thing which stood out was that we have only one coach over 90 years of Kentucky football who has a winning record coaching Kentucky in SEC and conference play and that was the most famous coach in college football history, Bear Bryant and his SEC record coaching Kentucky was a modest 56.3%.

We have had 18 coach's since 1920 and 17 of them have losing conference records these past 93 years which should tell us that coach Stoops has walked into a very tough situation to say the least and should be given a few years of grace before we start throwing him to the wolves.
