How often has it been the last game of the year? Here's my thought of why we always lose.

All season long the football players are the center of attention. Reporters take pictures, they hang around, etc. But, by the time we get to the UT game, the reporters are covering basketball, and football becomes secondary.

Do you all think that this has an effect on players?

Certainly, it must. That has to be a downer. But the real problem with this game being at the end of the season centers on depth: Tennessee has it, and we don't. Thus, those cumulative injuries that either sideline or limit a player really affect us, but only marginally affect Tennessee (and Georgia, and Florida, and Alabama, and LSU...).

Tiptree, Very good point. I have to admit, I was very mad when we fumbled on the 2 yard line. I said right there we will loose this game. It could have been easily 21-7 UK at half. In this rivalry, we are the Chicago Cubs of this game. That could be the last chance until another 25 yrs. Tennessee's QB will be off and running from here on out.
