Texas Tech athletics department spokesman Chris Cook said Tuesday that Tuberville will visit with university and athletic department administrators. Interim coach Ruffin McNeill has also had talks with school officials.

Athletics director Gerald Myers says he could have a pick by the end of the week — and that McNeill will be strongly considered for the permanent job.
