Joker Phillips has a history of discovering under-the-radar gems in the Peach State. The Kentucky offensive coordinator did that yet again Wednesday morning when Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake cornerback Eric Simmons verbally pledged to the Wildcats.

Another No-* recruit, perhaps that's the best UK can do but sure makes it difficult to compete in SEC. Oh well, BBM is only hours away.

Not every recruit needs to be multiple * recruit. As cmd pointed out, Coach Phillips has a history of finding the gems. However, it sure wouldn't hurt to land a few more of those *'s.
