IF (and that is a big IF), we can come out and actually play football in the first quarter against Bama, I believe we can hang with them and, the Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, actually upset them. They play a very different game than Florida, and I get the impression that we match up better against them.
But, if we have another first-quarter fiasco, and end up looking at a couple of touchdown deficit (or more!), then all bets are off -- Bama will whip us by 30 like Florida did.

At the beginning of the season I picked the Bama game as the Cats best chance at an upset. Given the horrendous play of Hartline the last 2 weeks and his inability to run the offense, I do not see a win. My pick is Bama 28-3.

Bama has the best defense in the country. This team is absolutely loaded. Two straight #1 recruiting classes and counting. Only chance Cats have to keep it close is to catch Bama looking ahead to Ole Miss next week.
I expect the Cats to play better than last week, but if Bama is on it will be lights out early. [ 10-02-2009, 02:44 AM: Message edited by: MountainMafia ]
