Although Brooks didn't identify which high school players he targeted in his travels, he said the recent success of the UK program is clearly resonating.

"I think it's going to be the best recruiting year we've had," Brooks said. "It's been a process. The three bowls in a row and the three wins have raised our level of visibility and credibility. We don't have to sell the hope as much as the reality."

imo 2009 is the year for the cats to do better in the SEC east than previous years.
About time we beat UT, UGa and UF...

After this season, I would settle for a win against UF, UT OR UGA.
