The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Simms had been expected to replace Hunter Cantwell as the Cardinals' starter next season. After redshirting in the 2007 season and being suspended the first four games this past season, he played in only two games. He completed 4 of 10 passes for 39 yards with one interception against Pittsburgh.

Think he'll go the JC route so he won't go almost 2 full years without playing football?

This kid was a head-case anyway. I remember when he was in high school. In the state final that his team won decisively he flipped off opposing players and fans.
