I'm a little concerned about the outbreak of ACL injuries. Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong, but these are not necessarily injuries that are initiated on the field. I've know of people that blew out their ACL by simply running.

Often, before someone blows out their ACL,there are tears. The tears can be fixed, but it does take time. It makes me wonder if these injuries are not being watched for closely enough, and the pains that are indicating tears are being ignored.
