Author Topic: Cobb is gone for 4 weeks! catmandoo Player Member # 1284 posted 09-18-2008 08:27 AM                     It might be more than 4 weeks according to this article. Today we found out more about the injury to Randall Cobb and it isnt good. High ankle sprain, likely serious….out at BEST for four weeks, likely more. The general feeling is 6-8 weeks, although one Kentucky journalist told me today that he would be the money on him being out for the year. A tough, tough loss for the backup quarterback and the best option to mix things up for the UK offense this season. I will talk more about this later today, so save the comments for then….but I do think this result shows (a) the absurdity of having him in at the time he was injured and (b) just how important Will Fidler may end up being to the success of this team.
