Watching UL handle KSU (a team that is forecast to be a bowl team by all I've seen) rather easily. Oops, a KSU punt return for a TD. Nevertheless considerable improvement for Cards since UK game. Moreso than Cats, I would opine, but they started from a lower level.

I won't be surprised to see the Cards win as many as 9 games this season. They really are not as bad as they looked against us (darn those first games against rivals). Its possible they could even win the Big East as it appears to be very down this year.

Cards 38-29 and it wasn't nearly that close. I'm pleased that Cats don't have to play them again this season.

Cantwell looked like he was in charge and fully capable at all times.

Kycat, Is that mainly because the Big lEast is "SO WEAK" this year?

That is my belief. While the Cards could well win the Big East as down as they appear to be this year that may not be that big of an accomplishment. I mean really, who is there in that league that is real powerful threat. WVU, Connecticut and Louisville, maybe Boston College are all respectable but no one is a threat to win the BCS I do not think.

Here is a ESPN site that gives you all kinds of info on the Big East teams. It breaks it all down with schedules and player information.
