Coach's comments from call-in show, as I recall them:
Lanxter will start at WR opposite "Daily Dicky". Boyd back to practice after mono, EJ Fields nursing hamstring, neither expected to see action. DeMoreo Ford back from bereavement leave and nursing quad, not expected to play. Uk's young receivers vs UL's likely to determine outcome. Cobb action at WR and PR, QB depending on game circumstances. Hartline continues to learn and improve, especially on deep passes, just needs game experience. Miss Little as receiver out of backfield (best hands of any back Brooks has coached), Locke best potential. OL has improved since 1st scrimmage, still confident in their ability, starters: Williams and Jefferies at OT, Duncan and either Beets or Durham at OG (to be decided by this week's practice), Gonzalez at C. TE either Grintner or Drake and expect more 2-TE formations than last year. BJ Murphy most improved player on squad, expect him to play a lot on OL. Defense is set, deep and talented, expects a breakout year for Micah Johnson, David Jones a great preseason at DB. DeAunte Mason QB will redshirt. Pressure by front 4 on Cantwell will be important. Has not spoken with Woodyard but left messages, from everything he's heard he is playing well on special teams and Broncos are pleased. Cats will surprise some folks, expect UK to upset some and make post season. Will know a lot more this time Sunday night.
