The Tornado senior and 2007 Class 2A Mr. Football back recipient reconfirmed his commitment to the University of Kentucky Wildcats on Tuesday, canceling his scheduled official visit this weekend to UT’s campus.
“I wanted to reconfirm that commitment,” said Cobb, hosted last weekend at Kentucky by former teammate Kyrus Lanxter. “Everything just felt real comfortable and felt like home. Kentucky had everything I was looking for.”

The importance of Cobb's decision shouldn't be minimized or overlooked. His speed and athleticism are just the qualities sorely needed if UK FB is to continue to improve. That he chose Cats over a SEC program noted for its athleticism is no small achievement for Coach Brooks and staff.
