on the big win C-A-T-S, Cats, Cats, Cats. I must admit that my first trip to Lexington was a very nice one with the exception of the game of course. Everywhere we went we were treated very kindly and even after the game there were few KY fans that felt the need to harass my family for being LSU fans. I was not sitting in the LSU section so I will say a big "I'm Sorry" for those that did. The disrespect for "Old Kentucky Home" was uncalled for.
While in your area we managed to eat at Ramseys (had the hot brown), Puccini's and had room service the night of the game (I imagine you know why, lol)
We vistied Keeneland (3 times)and went over to Louisville to the Bat factory.
Thanks for being good hosts but next time how bout making sure we go home winners.

I love watching a tour group come out of the Slugger Museum. Everyone comes out of the door at once and they all have some kind of bat in his or her hands. Makes me wonder if that's the safest place in the city at certain times.

tiger-Thanks. I ran into a group of LSU fans in a Waffle House in an adjoining town on Saturday morning. We all had a good time joking with each other. It's much better if we can just be fans and not idiots. Wouldn't it be interesting to meet up again in the Georgia Dome in December?

Ramsey's great choice, the Country Fried Steak is the best. My sister attended UK and we ate at Ramsey's everytime we came to visit. You shouldn't have to stay in just don't wear all LSU garb bring a change of clothes incase of a suprise loss! Your defense has not been as dominant as everyone said they were the last two games, UF and UK, and I think Flynn or shall I say Matt Damon hurts the team more than he helps, IMO LSU would still be undefeated if you played the Freshman QuarterBack and ran the option all the time like Oklahoma and Nebraska from the 70's!!!
Just one mans opinion, glad you had a good time!!!

Tampa - Problem was I didnt bring any non LSU gear, plus after the game I didnt feel quite like going out anyway. Nothing like $60.00 worth of room service burgers and fries.
I agree with your other points as well, the defense is playing tired and committing stupid penalties at stupid times.
The offense would be better if Perriloux were playing most if not all of the time.
Blue Collar - my 9 year old will attest to the bats being weapons, my 19 month old clocked him in the shin last night with one of those bats.
and yes bayer, I hope to see you guys again in the dome, just with different results this time.

Tiger stay around and post, we have Carolina fans on here heck one even dominates the genreal chat board
, we haven't really ever been that great at football since the 50's or 60's we had one good team I think, so the football part isn't the most popularly visited site, but we do the best we can. Living in Florida I have been beaten down with Football and Golf they love it here and it has grown on me as well!!!!!
Does anyone is LSU country even know who the USF Bulls are? I just wonder what the perception is from other areas because as I posted in another thread it seems alot like last year when people wanted Michigan OSU rematch that the countries percpetion was a little warped as to what good football is! LSU knows good football!

TK, after this week I dont think South Florida will be in the top 10.
And the following week I bet BC loses at Va Tech.
Tiger, I posted on another thread that LSU is still my number one. When the dust clears I think they will be playing for the title.

UNSX, If USF is going to lose its Thursday night IMO, if they beat Rutgers I think they go undefeated, UL, Cincinatti will not beat USF at home IMO!!!!
An undefeated USF will beat Ohio St, handedly IMO, and would beat maybe a Cal, USC, they would not beat LSU, not a good match up, and they would not beat UF IMO, but thats hard to say since they beat Auburn who beat Florida, USF UK would be a great match up!!!!!!!
I hope UK runs the table goes 11-1 and meets USF in the title, realistically I think USF does play for the title and does win if its not against a SEC team and they win Thursday night! B.C. will lose for sure, Kansas too, does Kansas face Oklahoma, If not Kansas could go undefeated until the big Twelve championship!!!!!
Oklahoma would beat USF too, but its not who the best is its who doesn't lose!!!
See OSU 2006!!!!

I do plan on sticking around, thanks!
And as far as the USF Bulls are concerned i know of them well, my cousins husband is a trombone professor there. He and a few other bone players played the National anthem at the Bucs titans game on Sunday. He was pretty excited when Gruden made mention of that during his press conference yesterday.

Considering my Kansas connections my dream bowl game (hopefully Sugar) is a matchup of UK vs. KU. My KU-alum sons are already laying the groundwork including travel plans. Quite premature in my thinking but, this year, who knows. KU doesn't play OU, UT or TT so it looks like KU vs. OU in Arrowhead for Big 12 title.
