What would it take to try to knock the goal posts down? We play LSU, Floria and Tennessee at home or maybe if we win the SEC east, or has the program come far enough to forget all that? What do you think?

Defeat either or both Gators and Vols and posts come down, provided the administration doesn't protect them with armed guards.

I for one, hope not. If you have a really talented team, the fans should act like their teams is supposed to have a shot at winning the game in the first place.

Personally, I'm hoping that they beat Steve Spurrier this year. Then Phil Fulmer. Those gys have undefeated records against UK.

I hope UK wins all the games, but USC and UT in particular.

Maybe they come down if UK beats UT.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought the field was equipped with new...“fan proof” collapsible goal post? As a result of the Georgia game. It takes roughly 2.5 seconds for those goal posts to come down, with the help of an appointed staff/security.

You are correct Zdrummer.

That 2.5 seconds isn't enough time if the fans want them down. [Big Grin]

Boomdaddy - dont know where you have been since the 50's but beating a top ten team at home means imo that the posts must go!!

we have been starving for years and years and years so take them down - take them down!! [Smile]
