Last season Pryor had 42 tackles, 6 1/2 for loss. He led UK with five sacks, tied for 10th in NCAA Division I-A with four forced fumbles and added an interception.
Peters had 18 tackles as a true freshman, eight of them against Louisiana-Monroe.
"I tried to point out to him little things to do on the defensive line, and you could see him coming along," Pryor said. "By the end of the year, he was playing like a starter, not like a backup."
