Looking at the schedule in the paper today it looks like UK might have the roughest schedule in the country. I would venture a guess that if we do better than 6-6 we have a lot better team than the media gives us credit for. But I think a 6-6 record may be the best we can do without a couple upsets.

BC, I am with you, our schedule is really tough and it's going to take a super effort to win more than 6 games. Everything has to go just right and we definitely can not have to many injuries. If by chance Woodson gets hurt we could be in deep do-do...

If we're better than most folks think we are that would be great. If we are as they think we are, not even close in my opinion.

I've been reluctant to post my feelings regarding the 2007 season because I'm not interested in raining on the parade of optimism so evident here. After last year's bowl win I posted that the predictions of better things was premature and I was criticized, which is fine, it's what Internet opining is all about. There is no doubt in my mind that Cats have one of their best teams in years, probably more talent at the skill positions than I can remember, experienced talent as well. But, as with all less elite teams, the talent is wide but not deep and thus fragile with respect to injuries. Predicting today is folly but since we're "hazarding a guess" I'll say 5-7 with 4-8 a distinct possibility. I hope I have to eat those words without benefit of sugar or spice.

Those sound sane to me but prophet, you must be looking at the worst possible happening. such as blowing a game or two that we should win and/or some people getting hurt.
