Unlike Seiber, Kentucky quarterbacks coach Randy Sanders fulfilled his dream of playing for the Volunteers, spending 22 years as a player and a coach, including the previous seven as offensive coordinator. During his coaching stint in Knoxville, Sanders went to 16 consecutive bowl games and won four Southeastern Conference championships and one national title.
