Redshirt freshman center Jorge Gonzalez will miss the rest of the season after tearing the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his left knee during Wednesday's practice.

Gonzalez was McCutchan's backup at center and drew praise from UK Coach Rich Brooks for his play off the bench against Louisville.

Junior Eric Scott, a converted defensive end, and senior Trai Williams, who has seen snaps at center and guard, will now back up McCutchan.

I would think they could apply for a medical redshirt.
