Several nice passes, but he's got to learn how to sustain a drive. The two passes batted down in the 2nd half cost us two first downs. He needs to move around a little to buy some daylight.
But QB will not be our problem this year. This team must learn to stop someone sometime, and I don't think Archer's D-schemes will accomplish that.

i thought woodson did well too. he showed a lot of composure and a lot more spirt than i have ever seen from him...if the line can give him some time he and burton are going to do just fine. burton is the real deal and most likely will get drafted..

Keenan Burton will be to Andre Woodson what Craig Yeast was to Tim Couch.
Mike Archer...sorry friend, but you or your scheme or both need to go. It's simply not working and hasn't worked since it was implemented.
I think the O-Line did pretty well. I can recall several plays in which Woodson had 5-6 seconds to throw the ball. Now if we can just get them to hold their blocks just a fraction of a second longer on running plays, we might get a rushing game going as well.

Gotta disagree. Last year, when Pulley got in during the 2nd half, people said that he did well because the other team let up. Why would that not be the case here?
Besides, it was A LOT more than first quarter jitters. UK's total offense was 27 yards going in to the first score late in the SECOND quarter.
What good is going for the long ball going to do when the other team can score easily anyway they want? The offense needs first downs or our defense will check out by half time.

I totally disagree. Woodson was a huge disappointment. He looked like a deer in the headlights. He locked in on one receiver, most of the game. This guy is a Junior. He should play with more poise.
