Honestly, I am not sure. The article refers to him as being in the class of 2025 and then later places him in the class of 2025.
I think he is in the class of 2025.

According to 247 Sports recruiting pages, he is in the class of 2025. So, the worry will be can we hold on to his commitment til he signs.

I hope we can hold on to him too. I wish that once a player signs with a school that they can't be recruited by another school for at least a year.

Once they sign, other schools can’t recruit them. However, a verbal commitment does not stop communication from other schools.
