First I would like to thank everyone for all of your prayers. On January 12th I was diagnoised with Lukemia AML. since then until last thursday the 4th of April I've had 152 hours of chemo. Praise GOD that I'm in remission and the Doctor gives me A 70% chance of A full recovery. I had no signs of being sick except for shortness of breath. so please don't take nothing for granted if it's not normal have it checked out.

I don't wander over to this forum often. Very glad to hear of your good prognosis! Let's turn that 70% to 100%.

Well it seems like I take one step forward and two steps back. I just got out of the hospital yesterday. I got sepsis last week, it was so hard to breathe, but I'm feeling better now. Thanks for all the prayers.

Hang in there, keep your faith, and remember, He never gives us something we can not overcome.

Prayers continued.

Well I'm through with chemo. Tomorrow I have to have a bone marrow biopsy. I won't know the results until next Monday. If the test comes back negative the doctor said I would have to come every three months for regular check ups. I'm asking for your prayers 🙏.

Prayers have been and will continue to be given...without your having to ask.

Finishing the chemo sounds great. Glad you are through with that.

Now, we need to get you on that 3 month checkup plan. Sources say that Ol' Doc needs a new putter, and that steady income should just about cover it... [Smile]

Seriously, sounds like good news so far. He has a plan, we just need to find the good in it.

Catfanrick, I've been praying for what plan God has for me, and I believe that he wants me to visit our local nursing homes to visit people who don't have people visiting them.

rlt4uk, you’re still in my prayers and I feel confident prayers will be answered.

My daughter is director of nursing in a local Eastern Star nursing home. She asked me if I would come once a week and have coffee with the men there as they have a very small population of males and they have little contact with other men. I reluctantly agreed. I’m glad I did. I believe I get more out of these visits than they do. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. I leave in a couple of hours for my weekly visit and your post kind of jumped out at me.

We have something in common other than UK athletic’s.

Thanks Handycat. When I got sick I realized that I was putting to much emphasis on sports. I want to do the Lords work first and spend more quality time with my family and then sports.

The doctor just called and told me that I'm cancer free. Bone marrow biopsy came back negative. Thanks for all of the prayers.
