Hoping all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving day. Ours will fall short this year because of this stinking virus. all told, we have 51 in our family, including our children, grand children, great grand children and all of their spouses. About 40 of them are usually here for Thanksgiving. Today, we have one, our oldest child. She just couldn't bear the thought of Mom and Dad spending the day alone.

Norm, I sympathize with you. We usually have all of our family here, but today is different. I hope that the vaccines will be effective for next year and for holidays and vacations for our families. I love our gatherings and the hugs and handshakes.

Happy belated Thanksgiving to all. There are only 10 of us in my little family and everyone was able to make it yesterday. We all live in the same county so we're together quite often through the year anyway.

One daughter is in California, so we had a small family-only gathering, but set up a video call to her while we ate. Strange days, but thank goodness for technology.

Neighbor to my mother said his daughter and her husband skyped with his family during Thanksgiving dinner. He said they were cutting up and having a pretty good time even though his daughter was in Atlanta and he was in KY.

He said the only thing different was he didn't get to wrap his arms around his daughter and hold her tight! Humans need touch, we all need touch. It's how GOD made us!
