A couple of years ago, I asked my liberal daughter, "Why do you hate President Trump so much?" She replied, "Because he said he could grab a woman by the ^*$#)!" I said "Well Honey, He just said it. Bill Clinton actually did it." (She was getting hot under the collar by this time) She practically screamed, "I'm not defending Bill Clinton!" I reminded her, "Well, you voted for his wife." She hung up on me! She hasn't discussed politics with me since!

I have a woke grandaughter that's like that and we try to stay away from politics.

I am very fortunate that all my immediate family and their spouses, ex-spouses, and significant--others are die-hard conservatives.

My ultra-conservative granddaughter is a senior at a very liberal private girls school in North Carolina. She is very careful to not let her political leanings be known so as not to be ostracized by her peers.
