Still getting rain in our area but it is light and we seem to have come through hurricane Florence with nothing but a bunch of fallen tree limbs and loss of electricity and TV for a day and a half. I have a major clean up in yard but we are still getting light rain so it can wait until rain ends. We got about 9 inches of rain here with more to come but we had such a dry August we could use some good rain. Am glad Florence has left my area, it was nerve racking for about 24 hours but I have survived it, thank goodness. We will be getting rain for a couple more days from it but the worst is over. Thanks for all of you here that were concerned.

One about a half mile from my house but I don't think it will get near me, hope not anyway. Poor North Carolina, they got destroyed. Eye went within ten miles of my house but we were on the good side of the hurricane, if there is such a thing as a good side of one.
