Rajon Rondo recorded his second triple-double of the season in Wednesday's 101-92 win over the Detroit Pistons, finishing with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists over 48 minutes.

He previously triple-doubled in Saturday's 103-94 loss to the Golden State Warriors, finishing that contest with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists in 44 minutes.

The 29-year-old Rondo now has 11 career triple-doubles that have included 15 or more assists, trailing only Magic Johnson (20) and Jason Kidd (13) over the last 30 years, per ESPN Stats & Info.

Rondo also accomplished another milestone in Wednesday's contest, becoming the first player since Monta Ellis in 2010 to play all 48 minutes in consecutive, non-overtime games during the regular season, per ESPN Stats & Info.

Here is a you-tube of the game where you can see both Rondo and Cousins do their thing.

Wasn't he labeled as a trouble maker and all of the experts said he was washed up at the end of last season?

Now, I am hearing rumblings of a long term contract coming his way.

It seems the experts are always too quick to dismiss a player as not being relevant.

He probably is a butt hole in person, but as long as he's making big bucks for the franchise, they will keep paying him.

I have never met the man. I certainly wouldn't call a person I have never met such a name, especially if he's not a politician.

I said, "probably", and I haven't met him either. I was just going by his perceived attitude.

Remember when PJ Carlisimo got choked by a former SEC player when he was coaching him in the NBA? I'm not saying the player was not at fault, but I would assume that the coach pushed him farther than he should have.

Rondo's previous team was with a coach that was notorious for not getting along with PGs. He was hurt, last season as well.

All the crazy stuff that Billy Clyde did at UK did not come out until after he was fired. We never hear how bad a coach treats players in the press. All we ever hear is that a player has a bad attitude for not blindly accepting the opinions of the coaches.

In the corporate world, you get fired. In college, you sit on the bench or get your scholly pulled. In the pros, a team may have too much money invested in a player that the coach has to reform and make it work or he will get fired.
