Wow, what a exciting tournament. If you play golf you had to love it. Jordon Spieth at the tender age of 21 did some things that few have done.

He’s the youngest US Open champion of the modern era, erasing a 22-year-old Rory McIlroy from the record books. He’s the first player since Gene Sarazen in 1922 to have won more than one major before turning 22. He’s only the sixth man in history - after Craig Wood, Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods - to win the Masters and US Open in the same year.

And he’s halfway to golf’s elusive holy grail: the modern Grand Slam!

Dustin Johnson folder up like a cheap suit. I dream of having his putt to win the US Open. For him to 3-putt that from 12 feet.... unreal.

I think under the pressure of a tournament like the Open the best player is usually the one that handles his nerves the best. Granted Speith double bogeyed the 17th hole but for the whole tournament he did a better job than any of the others keeping his cool.

True. To come back and do what he did on #18 after what happened on #17 is testament to that.

DJ just couldn't make a putt all day long.

Paul what did you think of the course? Lots of players and fans weren't very complementary about it. I think it was fine that the USGA had it there but hope it's a very long time that they go back.

I know you guys love it, but as for me, paint drying is as exciting. Hate me if you will.

Well, I was hoping not!

I saw the US Open in person when it was in Louisville a long time ago. What amazed me was how easy the players seem to swing and how far and straight the ball goes. The little guys like Garcia hit it just as far as the taller guys.

I am not a big golf fan and a hacker, whenever I pick up a club. Rarely have I ever broken 80.

Don't understand the media saying that Tiger should quit. I doubt most have never won an amateur scramble, much less a major. But, I hear these hacks on the radio saying that a player, who will go down in history as one of the greatest to ever play, should quit.
