Indiana has the 11th pick so they have a slim chance of signing Lyles. You never know however they could trade for a higher pick or they have a very outside chance to get him with their 11th pick.
Mark Montieth of www.nba.com had a chance to talk to Trey Lyles after his workout with the Indiana Pacers about what it might be like for him to be drafted later this month by his hometown team.
"Being somewhere where you watched a lot of games when you were a kid and actually being able to go out there and work out for the team, it's a special situation for myself," Lyles told Montieth Thursday.
"My family likes the Pacers, I watched them growing up, so it would be a cool situation. I'm a team-first guy and this is a team-first organization."
Lyles helped his team win a state championship in the Pacers' arena and also helped UK beat Kansas in the same arena last season.
