The big question is will Tiger win it again.
Who do you think will win it? I think it will be a foreigner, as they have a large contingent of golfers playing in it and they are about due to win. I think Ogilvie will have a good week...

One of the top-three weeks of the year! Vijay is one of my favorites, so I wouldn't mind seeing him win it. Tiger has to be the favorite, though.
This may sound crazy, but I also wouldn't mind seeing Paul Casey win. He's a very good golfer - always appears to be in the hunt - and he's one of the few European golfers that I really root for.

PC, Casey is now living in Arizona and is playing a full schedule here in the states along with a lot of other foreign golfers.

That's pretty sweet. I think he's gonna be a major player on the PGA tour for many years to come.

There is group of young foreign golfers living in Orlando and Arizona that are going to make the PGA Tour that much better. I don't know which one if any will win the Masters but i would bet more than one of them will be on the leader-board...

Tim Clark has grabbed the early lead (1:30) with a 68 which is great score and possibly could hold up all day.

What is Par? 72!
Posted by catmandoo (Member # 1284) on 04-09-2009, 01:28 PM:
Yes, 68 is par at the Masters.

Tiger ended up with a 70, which is the lowest first day score he has ever had in the Masters..
Really glad to see Kenny Perry do so well. You have to pull for the Kentucky boys. Steve Flesch a UK golfer had a 71 and is still in the hunt.

Kenny Perry continues to roll and should be in good shape going into the weekend! Go Kenny!

Saturday is moving day and i wouldn't be surprized if Tiger makes his move and fires a 66-67 round today.

Woods does not make his move and is tied with Mickelson 7 back of Kenny Perry and Cabrera who are 11 under..

Steve Flesch a former UK golfer and Kentuckian tied for low round of the day with a 68. He is 8 back and probably out of it but he is playing well.

It would be great to see a Kentucky golfer win the Masters, arguably the best golf tournament in the world. Kenny Perry has a great shot at it and if he can pull it off if would be fantastic!

Perry birdies 12. To stretch the lead a little.
Tiger has come storming back today but he's running out of holes!

It was a sad day for all us Perry fans. It looked like he had it in the bag with 2 holes to go. Sad sad sad!
