Dallas has been disappointing, but they are still likely to make the playoffs and the Bengals have been pretty bad, but there were not that high of expectations.

To me, the biggest bust this year has to be the San Diego Chargers. Norv Turner has once again worked his magic at dismantling NFL teams. This WAS the worst hire in football history before the latest Auburn situation.

When I saw the headline for this post, I thought "San Diego Chargers." I am on the same page as you. They have had some hard luck in a few games, but who would have expected them to be dwarfed in the standings by the Dolphins, Falcons, etc.?

In the defense of the Norv and the Chargers they got hosed out of a win @ Denver by Ed Hoculi and they have suffered some significant injuries this year (Merriman and LT played at about 70% healthy for the first 10 games of the year and I believe they lost one or two starting offensive lineman as well).

That being said. Norv Turner is an absolutely great offensive coordinator, but a lousy head coach. Same thing with Cam Cameron.

Finally, no matter how bad Norv Turner may be doing he is not even close to the worst hire in NFL History. The Atlanta Falcons hiring of Bobby Petrino will be hard to top IMO.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

I think my Cowboys are now, by far, the biggest bust in the NFL this season. All the way from Super Bowl favorite by many to not even making the playoffs. The Eagles will absolutely destroy the Cowboys next week in Philly.

You never know what Dallas team is going to show up as they sure have the talent to play a very well. I wouldn't be surprised to see them come back next week and play like champions.

cmd,

The Cowboys have feasted off of the weak this year. They have wins against the following teams: Seattle, San Francisco, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Green Bay.

Their victory against the Redskins came as the skins started to collapse and Portis was not full speed and the Giants are not anywhere close to the same team without Burress.

The Eagles will beat the Boys by at least 10 next week.

m hamilton,

It's not all on Phillips, but he is part of the problem IMO. The Cowboys lack discipline and that is where his leadership is lacking.

The Cowboys have gone from too much discipline (Parcells) to none with Phillips. There has to be a happy medium somewhere out there.

The Cowboys really missed not having their best and most underrated offensive lineman this year, Kyle Kosier. Cory Proctor is just plain bad and teams picked up on it rather quickly and would overload their blitz packages to his side. It is hard to tell if Romo is the answer because he ran for his life the entire year because of the poor protection that he received.
