Wow.....that was ugly. I didn't watch it live and decided to watch after seeing the box score.

20 Turnovers and probably 15 of them unforced. I think one of the last one's was a perfect play designed to get Kam Williams an open corner three. UK threw it to Garrison on the foul line and with no one around him and Kam wide open in the corner BG misses him by 10 feet.

Malcahi Moreno must have hit the Freshman wall after the game at Florida. He played fantastic in Gainesville. The games I watched after that game he looked like a deer in the headlights.

Maybe the NBA talk got to his head, but he probably played his way out of that conversation.

Anyway, I can't say that I am sad this season is over, but I am sad because I think next year is shaping up to be even worse.

It is a sad state of affairs in Lexington. I was so hoping that Pope was going to be the answer, but he just is too nice of a guy to be an elite head coach. He is too buddy buddy with his players in my opinion and he needs to cut ties with his friends as assistant coaches and go and get some really good assistants, but I know he will not do that either and no one is going to hire a single assistant away from Kentucky.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

I think we all hoped Pooe would bring us back.
I agree he’s too nice. We only saw him get on one player all year. And that happened once.
As likeable as he is, I don’t think he’s the man for the job.

This season did not play out to most people's expectations. It's debatable whether Ohweh made a mistake on coming back or not. He was still the best scorer for UK but it also gave people a chance to see many mistakes he made while being the leading scorer and digging us out of a hole several times. I think he is too inconsistent in his play to really get drafted but he will probably get hooked up with a team. After that we got nobody that's draftable this year, unless someone has s*** for brains. I'm looking for Garrison Lowe and Potter back. Also Dioubate, Williams, Noah and Chandler. Probably Moreno, Johnson and Hawthorne but Jelavic and Quaintence are great big ?????

Late in the first half, Iowa State called a timeout and completely switched its defense and made a great coaching adjustment. They decided to pressure the ball handler at the point of attack. Then it was game over!
