Please tell me this is not going to be like the first game where we blew a good lead. That's what looks to be happening right now. Can't watch it but keeping up with the score.

Pretty sure this was our final SEC tournament win this year. My hopes are that these two wins will give us a high enough seed in the NCAA that we could possibly win a couple more this year. [ 03-12-2026, 03:13 PM: Message edited by: handycat ]

I agree. I don't see us beating Fla. in any scenario. Even though we ended up close the last 2 games, they definitely controlled the entire game. Last game they made some really dumb mistakes to let us back in the game at the end. I hope I'm wrong, but I see a double digit loss to Florida.

Florida is not unbeatable. We just have to shoot a good percentage and not turn the ball over. If we can do that, it's anyone's ballgame.

I think they are unbeatable for us. We don't matchup with them well at all, and we can't keep them off the boards. They are just so much better than us. In order to have a chance Pope should have come in with some defensive strategies including zones, a junk defense, mixing up defenses, etc. He hasn't done any of that. Playing straight man is not the answer and Pope doesn't seem to realize that.

Rebounding completely killed us in this game!
Florida registered 50 and KY 29
18-8 in the offensive rebounding

Who can tell me the name of the website we used to look at as far as officials records in games Kentucky has played in?
I should know this, my old lap top had the website saved. I don't have it anymore!

I know I've been Awal these past 2 days. My wife has celebrated her birthday, being the good husband that I am, I've done whatever she wanted to do.
I actually watched the Missouri on tape delay while following it on my phone yesterday!
Today I watched the 2nd half and it turned out like I thought it would! We go on too many 4-5-6 minutes streaks without making a shot!
Won't win too many games against Good teams when you shoot like that!

Glad you got to celebrate your wife’s birthday with her. We’re still docking you two games pay.

I have visited this site several times this season and it seems to not have been updated since the end of the 2024-25 season.

While the result was what I had anticipated, I was happy with the effort from the guys. We just couldn't keep them off the glass, and we missed way too many wide open shots. Imagine if we just has a big post that could box out and protect the rim. What a difference that would have made today.

I will also say that I did think we needed to switch defenses up more, but we actually did a pretty good job in man to man. I still will stand by saying mixing defenses would have helped a little bit, but not a bad effort on that end at all.

Rebounding and missing wide open shots just killed us yesterday. I loved our defense. This team plays with heart, which I love. I don't know how they have games where they just shoot so terribly.
