I don't know if I'm a glutton for punishment. I'm leaving now going to the game. Here's hoping it's a great night. Go Big BLUE 💙

Have fun rlt. Maybe you can give JQ an icepack to put on his knee to help with that swelling:). Not sure if our staff knows about the RICE method. They definitely know the REST part. Watching Acuff play after having a boot on this week, and playing 50 minutes, makes me more angry that we can't seem to figure out how to get swelling to go down.

Anyway, I hope they play good for you. If they do you're gonna have to figure out how to get to the rest of the games:)

That was two bad teams playing basketball today. Pope is in over his head.

This season is about to end abruptly. We have no chance for anything except also rans. Even though we have 12 guys who could return I have a feeling Pope will have trouble getting more than 6 of them to return, although this is what we have been begging for. Some players who would stick around for multiple years so we could get to know them. I think we've seen most of them enough to know them. [Confused]

Rarely can you say one call cost someone a game.
Yesterday was that rare occasion.
Yeah we stunk and had multiple screw ups and turn overs and brain farts, but that call on Chandler cost us the game. Missed (or ignored) the guy holding him and then call a push off that was a total flop. Chandler isn’t near strong enough to knock that dude down.
I’m so disillusioned by horrible reffing. We have enough hurdles to overcome without that nonsense.
Just my usual $.02.

I still believe Pope will get this program back to where it needs to be.

I’m trying to remain hopeful that is true.

This season is what I was expecting last year with a new coach, and Pope silenced all doubters.

Pope is trying to build a system that isn't a bunch of one-and-dones, and that means you'll probably struggle at first. Lowe and Quaintance were the most important recruits as far as instant success this year, and neither of them are factors. We've been forced to rely on mostly freshman and sophomores. It's a tribute to Pope that we even have 17 wins right now. Other than Oweh, no active player on this team was considered a stud. With the roster we have this year, I see plenty enough out of Pope to know great things are in the future for this program.

GO CATS! [Smile]
